My name is Gonzalo Rostán. I am a psychologist and experimental photographer. My
work unfolds between therapeutic practice and artistic creation. Both paths constantly
dialogue with one another and shape a particular way of seeing, listening, and
accompanying human processes.
From a therapeutic perspective, I work with individual processes, focusing on personal
and family history, relationships, the body, and the symbolic dimensions of experience.
Understanding and honoring where we come from helps bring order to the present and
opens a clearer horizon toward where we wish to go.
Through photography, I explore time, perception, and transformation as ways of
accessing the sensitive and the not-always-visible aspects of reality.
My professional background includes training in Transpersonal Psychology, Family
Constellations, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, along with a previous formation in
the organizational field, where I trained as an Accountant and completed a postgraduate
degree in Organizational Transformation. These diverse paths have contributed to the
development of a broad perspective on human systems, their dynamics, and their forms
of organization.
Artistic practice and clinical work continuously influence one another. Working with
images, symbols, and experimental processes expands my way of observing and
accompanying, while therapeutic work brings depth and meaning to my creative
exploration. This open and sensitive way of seeing fosters the emergence of new
perspectives and possible ways of relating to our environment.
Currently, I develop artistic projects, individual therapeutic processes, and educational
spaces, from an integrative approach that seeks to open creative spaces for personal
transformation, respecting the uniqueness of each individual journey.
